FLYBOARDING & JETPACK – CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE BUT COMING SOON
Come and feel the “Art of Flight”
The flyboard is simply a unique and amazing experience – the thrill of the height, the view and feeling like you are floating and flying is a must -try!
Our sessions are 15 or 30 mins long and include 5 minutes of instruction. You will need to be able to swim and be over 16 years old to do it. If you are over 12 years old, we may consider you for but this would be subject to your swimming ability and your coordination. Our instructor is a real pro and you will be in safe hands.
While the flyboard propels the water from under your feet, the jetpack is a suit that you strap into and you control it through the arms and your legs hang free while the jets spray behind you – its a very nice feeling and well worth trying but we would recommend that you try the flyboard first to get a feel for the jets.
Do not miss out and BOOK today!
WHAT IS FLYBOARDING?
The Flyboard was created in 2011. It is strapped to the feet of the user and is connected to a jet ski by a hose. The power of the jet ski is what propels the water through the hose. The water is propelled out beneath the Flyboard allowing the user to fly in upwards of 30 to 35 ft above the water. There are attachments that do allow the users to control the power of the Flyboard from their hands but this would be used by someone who has more experience. Safety is priority with every flight. Flyboarding will turn into a worldwide amazing sport and you can be proud to be a part of it.
The Flyboarder in general, controls everything about the Flyboard except how much power it’s receiving. The power portion of the experience is controlled by a certified instructor on the jet ski. However, regardless of the power, the user strongly controls his/her height by how they shift the board and indefinitely control their direction by how they balance the board. It should be noted that based on the logistics of this, the jet ski itself is powerless as all the power is pushed through the Flyboard. Since the power is all pushed through the Flyboard, the Flyboarder is in control of direction of the jet ski because it is towed behind in the direction the Flyboarder is flying.
WHAT IS THE JETPACK?
The Jetpack uses jets like any hydro sports such as flyboard. The first time you fly a jetpack you will be immediately surprised to find that you are in fact sitting on the seat and your weight is all being carried by the saddle. The straps of the jetpack are holding you in place, but distribute none of your weight. This takes so getting used to and is one of the biggest design elements that we concentrated on for both control and comfort. Keeping your legs from swaying side to side is the number one key to stability and comfort. Its very fun and you feel very free to fly at your own control.
